In this short Live 9 Beta video, Martin Delaney showcases a creative use of Audio to Midi: based on a background ambiance recorded in a café in London, Martin first quantizes the audio to create a rythmic feel to the audio, and then converts it to Midi to try out various uses of the source material: background noise turns into a drum pattern, or a bass line and even a piano melody ! Very creative way to manipulate audio indeed !
